Perhaps the only psychobilly-getaway-sci-fi-terror-rock group in existence, the Big Mechanical Bull has been thrilling and confounding audiences since 1998. Their music is part warp-speed electric hoedown, part chilling nightmare music soundtrack, and part irreverent Simpsons-esque humor and hijinks. It's a hot, spicy concoction that awakens emotions you never knew you had, or perhaps wished you didn't.
Led by Andrew Light on guitar, the band features a fearsome rhythm section in the form of Adam Vaccarelli on bass and Pete Andrews on drums. They are currently recording their long-awaited full length album and playing many sleazy dives around the Northeast. Check back soon for more horrific details.
